Lots of different tribes in this area. Because there were plentiful resources these tribes were able to stay in one area and farm. Example Haudeosaunee also called the Iroquois

house built by Eastern Woodlan Indians. Made of wood poles and bark. Families lived in them and lit fires for cooking and warmth. So important to the Haudenosaunee that their name means "people of the longhouse)
