In 395 Emperor Theodosius splits the empire. Onorius moves western capital to Ravenna, which is in northern Italy on the Adriatic coast. After his death, western Rome is ruled by Galla Placidia. He mints a coin and takes the Agustus title, and comissioned a mausoleum. |
