-Named for Marion Walker Spidle who was Dean of Home Economics for 28 years. 

-She was inducted into the Alabama Women's Hall of Fame in 1997.

-Houses the College of Human Sciences

-Academic advising for Human Sciences takes place here during Camp. 

Year: 1952

History:

-Miller came to Auburn as the first Pharmacy teacher in 1859 and stayed until 1929. 

Current Use:

-Miller Hall currently is home to the School of Nursing.

-Academic Advising for the School of Nursing takes place here during Camp. 

Year: 1984

-It houses the Department of Adult Education as well as the Department of Industrial Design which is included in the College of ADC. 

Walker Pharmacy Building (History/Use)

Year: 1976

History:

-It was renamed in 2000 for William W. Walker Jr who built the Birmingham-based Walker Drug Company into one of the nation's largest wholesale independent drug companies. 

Current Use:

-Home to the Harrison School of Pharmacy

Marriage and Family Therapy Center (Glanton House)

Year: 1939

History: It was originally the Home Economics building. 

Current Use:

-Family and youth counseling and education: training center for therapists or grad students with degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy. 

-Therapists here are allowed to supervise visits for parents who have lost custody of their children. 

Year: 1940

-Tichernor Hall is named for AU's 3rd President, Issac Taylor Tichenor.

-It houses the College of Liberal Arts.

Yeah: 1951

-Thach is named after Charles Coleman Thach, AU alum and AU's 6th President. 

Current Use:

-It houses the History and Psychology Departments.

-The auditorium is often used for freshman classes. 

Early Learning Center (AUELC)

Year: 1939

-AUELC is a lab pre-school serving children ages 3-5 in the morning and afternoon programs. It is located in the center of campus right on the Concourse.
