-Named for former Alabama Governor Braxton Bragg Comer.
-The inside of the building was gutted by fire in the early 1920s. It was redone in 1922 with all native Alabama wood.
-In the front of the building, there is a bronze plaque on a stone honoring the centennial of the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station.
-Under the stone is time capsule highlighting the then 100-year history of the Experiment Station.

-Swingle Hall is named after Homer S. Swingle, who helped found the Fisheries department in the 1930's.
-Swingle Hall houses the AU Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures. |

-Duncan Hall was named for President L.N. Duncan who, in 1920, began to put aside a reserve fund for the construction of the Extension Service.
-Duncan Hall is the state headquarters for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System which is an outreach organization for the land-grant mission of Auburn University. |
