1. If time permits, then reduce recirc flow to minimum

2. Determine if all control rods are inserted to or beyond position 04
3. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. Reduce recirc flow but do not go below 35 Mlb/hr
2. IF core flow is less than 35 Mlb/hr, THEN execute C.4-B.05.01.02.A (Control of Neutron Flux Oscillations) concurrently
3. IF conditions require initiation of manual scram THEN execute C.4.K (Immediate Reactor Shutdown)
4. Notify Shift Supervision.

NOTE: Reducing power with rods is NOT an immediate action. It is a subsequent action and requires the procedure to be out.

1. Verify a RBCCW pump is running
2. If RBCCW System pressure cannot be restored WITHIN 60 seconds, then perform the following:
   1. TRIP the RECIRC PUMPS and execute C.4-B.01.04.B (Trip of Two Recirc Pumps)
   2. CLOSE RBCCW drywell isolation valves MO-1426, MO-4229, and MO-4230
3. Notify Shift Supervision

1. Evacuate personnel from affected area (use plant page announcement)
2. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. If an SRV indicates OPEN, THEN place switch for the affected SRV at Panel C-03 to OPEN and return to normal position;
2. IF SRV E, G, or H OPEN, THEN perform the following:
   1. Place respective switch… at Panel C-03 in CLOSE
   2. Place Div II Lo-Lo Set Logic switch (HS-S3B) at Control Room Panel C-253D in BYPASS
3. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. Execute C.4-B.05.01.02.A (Control of Neutron Flux Oscillations) concurrently
2. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. Execute C.4-B.05.01.02.A (Control of Neutron Flux Oscillations) concurrently
2. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. Verify a CRD pump is running
2. Notify Shift Supervision.

GENERAL NOTE 1: To determine core flow with only one Recirc pump running, idle loop jet pump flow must be subtracted from the running loop jet pump flow.

GENERAL NOTE 2: During core flow transients, it may take up to two minutes for indicated flow to match actual flow.

IMMEDIATE OPERATOR ACTIONS

1. IF core flow is LESS THAN 35 Mlbm/hr,
   THEN determine if the stability BUFFER or EXCLUSION regions have been entered.
    
2. IF neutron flux oscillations are observed for any reason while operating in the stability
   BUFFER or EXCLUSION regions,
   THEN initiate a MANUAL REACTOR SCRAM.
    
3. Notify Shift Supervision.

1. Control Reactor level in MANUAL using any unlocked FW REG valve M/A station
2. Notify shift supervision

1. Verify a Stator Cooling water pump is running
2. IF a total loss of Stator Cooling has occurred AND cooling cannot be immediately restored, THEN initiate a Reactor Scram
3. Notify Shift Supervision

1. Reduce reactor power per C.4-F to stablize condenser vacuum
2. Notify shift supervision.
