2. fuel: BOTH, mixture: FULL (set-CO), carb hear: ON (pull out)
3. establish/announce altitude and heading
4. power back to 15 MP, prop: FULL
5. gear down (below 140), flaps: down -first notch at the same time as gear to help maintain alt
6. pitch up to bleed off airspeed, add power as necessary
RECOVER: 1) max power and carb heat off (push in) 2) flaps 20 3) gear up 4) rest of flaps |

5. When aircraft reaches approach speed (70 kts) reduce power and establish descent
6. pull power to idle and pitch up (simulate flare)
RECOVER: 1) reduce back pressure to level flight (no nose down!) 2) full power and carb heat off (push in) 3) first notch of flaps, then gear up 4) remaining flaps *During recovery adjust pitch to maintain altitude |

4. establish/announce heading and altitude
5. pitch up to slow airspeed to Vr (50 kts) while maintaining alt

1. Clearing turns
2. Establish cruise flight: 18 MP, 22 RPM
3. Establish and announce altitude and heading, and call out visual reference points
4. Prop: FULL
5. Roll into wind and establish 30 deg bank
6. apply full power and increase back pressure to increase pitch until 90 deg point
7. At 90 deg point: start rolling out of bank while maintaining pitch
8. Roll out wings level at 80 deg point at 1.2xVs (about 60 kts) -hold this airspeed for a minute
RECOVER: 1) resume straight and level flight to build airspeed 2) enter back into cruise config at new alt |

1. Clearing turns
2. Establish cruise flight: 18 MP, 22 RPM
3. Establish and announce altitude and airspeed, and call out visual reference points
4. Raise nose and begin climb (5-10 deg), and slowly roll into bank to enter coordinated climbing turn
5. Pass 45 deg point with max nose-up for maneuver (then increase bank and decrease pitch)
6. Arrive at 90 deg with max bank angle (30 deg), and pitch level and then descending (bank continues to decrease)
7. Pass 135 deg point with lowest pitch attitude (continue decreasing bank angle and increasing pitch)
8. Roll out on 180 point at same alt and airspeed as entering
*power stays constant entire maneuver |

1. Clearing turns
2. Establish cruise flight (18MP, 22 RPM) and trim
3. Select landing area and maneuver towards it
4. Maintain alt and set trim for best glide (72 kts)
5. Abeam landing area reduce power (10 MP), let nose drop, and trim for best glide (72 kts)
6. Maintain constant turn radius around point, correcting for wind: 20-30 deg turn (max 60 deg) *CYCLE PROP AFTER EACH 360 turn (to clear engine) |
