introduces anatomy and phys, etiology of dz, pathology, ddx, diff of syndromes, prevention, ying/yang, 5 elements, tx and man's relationship w/nature and cosmos.

Ling Shu (Miraculous Pivot, Spritual Axis) 81 chapters

focus is acupuncture, description of meridians, fx of Zang-fu organs, 9 types of needles, needling techniques, types of Qi, location of 160 points.

Classic of Herbal Medicines (Shennong Bencaojing)

Nan Ching (Classic of Difficulties) was compiled w/in 200 yrs after Nei Ching.  Pertains to medical issues which relate to practice of acupuncture.  Human organisim came to be seen as linked in an endless circulation of Qi.
