Approximately 50-60% of individuals with a lifetime history of major depressive (MDD) have a lifetime history of one or more anxiety disorder. The NCS found strong associations between lifetime prevalences of panic and major depressive episode with an OR of 6.2 for panic attacks with depression, and an OR 6.8 for depression with panic attacks. |
