Has a lion and boar fighting, light and dark pattern either rope or intertwining snakes.
The 3 gorgones (witches with snakes for hair) are at the top.
Used to deter people from entering as people feared gorgones because they turned people into stones.
Polyphemos was a giant who was a cyclopse, he's sitting as Odisios and other sailors are stabbing him in the eye with a giant spear. |
