- smoke will go to the flight deck so open fwd escape hatch during emergencies (must be slowed to 150 KIAS)
- close paratroop doors before putting emerg escape hatch on (neg pressure exists)

- Jettison the crew door.
Bailout from crew door is not reccomended at airspeeds above 150 KIAS or with landing gear extended or without a helmet.
- Crew door may not jettison if 3.1 inches of mercury pressure differential is there.
-Bailout from crew entrance door in squatting position at the rear. Push head first outward and down. Do not go feet first. |
