- Generic Name: buprenorphine and naloxone
- Trade Name: Suboxone
- Indications: used to treat narcotic (opiate) addiction
- Dose Range and Routes: Sublingual film, day 1 up tp 8 mg/2mg sublingually. Maintenance of progressively adjusting in increments/decrements of 2mg/0.5 mg or 4mg/1mg to a level that holds the patient in treatment and suppresses opioid withdrawal symptoms.
- Side Effects: constipation, drunk feeling, nausea, vomiting, insomnia
