a 3-D geometic shape, the standard form of which is generatied by a line (called thegenerator) through a point (called th evertex) on another line (called the axis) in such a way that, when the gerator is rotated around the axis, it sweeps out a precisely circular path. It consists fo 2 circular nappes, one abouve and one below the vertex. |
