Not to be removed from remains; left with the remains to preserve supportive identification evidence. Loose PE at site will be annotated on teh site map and placed in plastic bags secured with wire tie shipping tags. Never try to re-associate PE to remains in S&R process. |

Remains must be refrigerated at a temperature of 38-40 degrees F or 3.3-4.4 degrees C. If refrigeration not readily available, pack bagged remains in ice or ice packs in insulated chests or in a transfer case. Ice should not be placed directly on the remains. |
