The moldboard plow was effective in helping the people of Western Europe to make an effective farmland. The moldboard plow would dig deeper and would create small "hills" that would enable the land to remain fertile. It also flipped the soil. |

The long acre system was an idea of creating long narrow plots for peasants to grow themselves. All of the plots were divided by the landlord and distributed to the landlord, church, and peasants. |
