Definition

New atypical antipsychotic developed for schizo. It's a sublingual tablet.

 

Place tablet under the tongue and allow it to dissolve completely. Tablet will dissolve in saliva within seconds. The tongue will feel numb afterwards.

How to take Abilify Discmelt, Risperdal M-Tab, Zyprexa Zydis?
Definition

Immediately upon opening the foil blister, using dry hands, remove tablet and place in mouth. Do not push the tablet through the foil because it may crumble. Table disintegration occurs rapidly so it can be easily swallowed with or without liquid.
