(2) Posts can be 4x4 or 6x6, vertical can be 20 Ft. maximum at 6x6 and the distance between them is 4 Ft. maximum for 4x4 and 5 ft. for 6x6. (1) Midpoint brace is required, can be 6 – 11 Ft. (1) 4x4 header with 12 inches leftover on each side. (1) Sole plate same as header, 4x4 with 12 inches leftover on each side. (2) Half gussets 6”x12” by ¾ of inch plywood (It may be one side if no chance of vibration or shock load.) |
