Thomas Kuhn, Paradigm Shift
Definition
o 1. Normal science ->
o 2. Model drift (some ppl saying it doesn’t work for them. Malaria – bed nets help to reduce but locals couldn’t afford them but rates didn’t drop because model didn’t take into assumption of culture that they sold them or used them as beds) ->
o 3. Model crises (major drift, models aren’t enough, might not even be model, what is missing , lack of faith) ->
o 4. Model revolution (new models come up when other fails and another one is used) ->
o 5. Paradigm change (new model used)
