Study Flashcard Set
- If following along from the previous section of the guide skip to step 4, otherwise continue to step 2
- After signing in click the My Flashcards link in the menu bar to display My Sets
- From the My Sets tab click the Title of the existing set you would like study
- From the Manage Flashcard Set main page click the Start Study Session button
- Configure the study session for either Standard or 4D and click the Start Session button
- Standard Session (Review the term/definition and then flip the card to see the respective term/definition)
- The flashcard will be displayed with either the Term or Definition, depending on your configuration settings selected from the previous step.
When you're ready to reveal the other side, click the Flip Card button at the bottom of the flashcard, or simply push the spacebar on your keyboard
- When the card has been flipped you have the option to click the Repeat Card Now, Repeat Card Later, Previous Card, or Next Card buttons
- At any point during the study session you may use the menu bar at the top of the window to re-start your session, flag/un-flag the card, edit the card or end the session
- 4D Session (This type of learning introduces cards over time based cycles. Users score themselves on how well they know the information on each card. Based on their scores, the cards are presented in future cycles until they have been mastered)
- The flashcard will be displayed with either the Term or Definition, depending on your configuration settings selected from the previous step. When you're ready to reveal the other side, click the Flip Card button at the bottom of the flashcard, or simply push the spacebar on your keyboard
- After flipping the card you will be asked to rate how well you knew the card, based on a scale from Don't Know to Knew it. Simply move your cursor over the rating bar and click where you feel you're at
- After rating yourself it will automatically load the next card until all cards have been rated and no longer require studying during this cycle. Once the cycle has been completed you'll be prompted to start another cycle or go to the 4D Session Details page
- At any point during the study session you may use the menu bar at the top of the window to flag/un-flag the card, mark the card as mastered, or to edit the card
